Open House with Paul Leary

Last Friday we had the pleasure of hanging out with legendary Butthole Surfers guitarist Paul Leary at our monthly Open House.   As always with Paul, we were in for a fun and informative evening.  Paul spoke humbly and openly about his incredible music career and adventures, including traveling around the world working with the biggest names in rock and engineering/producing Sublime, U2, Meat Puppets, Stone Temple pilots, and much more.  Paul described the changes in the music business seen throughout his career and stressed an emphasis on song writing, saying "Hold on to your songs, for whatever it's worth!".

Thank you again, Paul!   You're an inspiration to many and are always welcome at TRCoA.

"I should have gone to your recording school.  I don't know how many records I made before I discovered stuff everyone takes for granted." ~ Paul Leary
